About Patch 1.14, and a list of tutorial threads.

A lot of people have been experiencing trouble with not just this patch, but the Sims 3 in general... here are some threads/tutorials from the internet to help you get it working, should you be experiencing issues.

Technical Issues:

Please keep in mind that us Mac users have no way to downpatch from 1.14, as EAxis has removed all of our patch links. So it's either the release version that came with your disk, or the glitchy latest patch. ALWAYS back up your game before trying any of the fixes listed below.

Custom Content Issues:

Before you try any of this, make sure that the custom content that you have downloaded is said to work with your patch level, and make sure that if you are not patched above 1.12.70, that you have installed the proper framework that would enable the game to recognize custom content. You can find a tool to do all that for you at Modthesims.

READ THIS. Before you do anything else. Sims 3 doesn't handle CC the same way as Sims 2, and most of the problems I've heard of are from people installing/downloading custom content incorrectly.

TS3 Custom Content - If your fix isn't here, than it probably isn't from your CC.
